PEI’s BIO FOOD TECH was established in 1987 as the Food Technology Centre to provide technical support to the food processing industry in Prince Edward Island. Since then, BFT has strategically developed its infrastructure and attained recognition as a quality technology provider to many local, regional, national and international clients. They currently provide services to the food and bioprocessing industries from concept to pilot to market through the following three integrated business divisions – Food Technology, Bioscience Technology, and Lab Services.
