When an industry development strategy calls for a doubling of revenues and an additional 500 new jobs by 2020, it’s important to have a human resource plan to back up that rapid growth. The PEI BioAlliance today unveiled a new HR Strategy for the province’s bioscience sector, focusing on actions to maintain a high level of recruitment and retention success, HR support for companies, skills development, and community outreach. The National Research Council of Canada recently welcomed Grant Sullivan, as the new Executive Director of the Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) for the Atlantic and Nunavut region. Prior to joining NRC, Mr. Sullivan spent more than 20 years working in the private sector - providing information technology consulting and solutions to Canadian and international clients. He also served in the Canadian Navy and operated his own company.
