The company is only as good as the people in the lab, so we are working really hard to get the right people. Networking is very important, we hired our scientists after a BioAlliance social event. The Prince Edward Island BioAlliance is an incredible networking resource.

PEI’s bioscience cluster is helping to take the province in new directions, growing businesses and sustaining communities. We are turning the solid support we’re seeing from

PEI has done an excellent job at supporting the traditional economy while creating the right conditions for the growth of the new economy. It helps to have a roadmap to development and the PEI BioAlliance has been very instrumental in facilitating this process for our company.

A big reason for moving here was the PEI factor. My wife and I had a sense that it would be a great place to raise a family. When we moved here, our boys were five and seven. Part of the lure was the privilege of raising a family on PEI. This is great, safe and supportive community
