LATIN ACCESS was created by Patricia Díaz in 1993 in response to the challenges and opportunities posed by the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and globalization at large. Patricia was born in Mexico City and has lived in Atlantic Canada since 1983. She has successfully operated her own Intercultural Communication Services in Prince Edward Island, Canada since 1985, and has been a member of Rotary International since 1989.
